The State rooms

Occupying 165m², the magnificent Ballroom with its huge chandeliers is the largest of the function rooms in the CITY PALACE. The open arrangement of the corridors on the east and west sides of the hall and the adjoining south corridor creates a total area of 260m². Each floor has its own catering area.

Gala set-up: max. 100 guests
Please note, the capacity for a gala setup on the second floor is 100 guests maximum, this also applies when Ballroom and Square Room are both in use.

Theatre set-up: max. 140 guests

Cocktail set-up: max. 150 guests

The roughly 155m² Square Room, likewise illuminated by an ornate chandelier, adjoins the Ballroom. Connected by two double doors, it is the ideal extension as a room for cocktail receptions.

Gala set-up: max. 80 guests

Please note, the capacity for a gala setup on the second floor is 100 guests maximum, this also applies when Ballroom and Square Room are both in use.

Theatre set-up: max. 120 guests

The 97m² Boiserie Room adjoining the Concert Room is the smallest of the function rooms available. It is ideal for smaller groups and as an extension of the Concert Room, since the two rooms are connected by two double doors.

The elegant entrance area occupies around 100m² and is an ideal welcome area for guests.

The 530m² Hercules Hall is Vienna’s largest secular baroque hall. The perfectly restored magnificent ceiling fresco by Andrea Pozzo and the impressive marble columns form the splendid setting for formal dinners for up to 300 guests, as well as for concerts, receptions or conferences.

Classroom set-up: max. 250 Gäste

The open design of the Sala Terrena, a roughly 1,000m² room suffused in light and with access to the garden, is the ideal place to welcome your guests, hold cocktail receptions or bring a formal dinner to a perfect end. The centre of the Sala Terrena is marked by the Golden Carriage, a highlight of the Princely Collections.

The former Ladies’ Apartments (DA 1, DA 2, DA 3), three adjoining almost square rooms of 100m² each, extend the ground-floor function area. These rooms are ideal as lounge or bar area, for music and dancing or as a haven to which your artistes or event crew can withdraw.

Gala: DA 1 & DA 3 max. 50 guests each; DA 2 max. 30 guests

Theatre: DA 1 & DA 3 max. 80 guests each, DA 2 max. 30 guests

Cocktail: DA 1 & DA 3 max. 100 guests each, DA 2 max. 30 guests

The Princely Garden is open to the public during the day, a magnificent oasis of green for the 9^th District. Of the total of roughly 5 hectares, about 1.5 can be used for functions. Garden parties, company summer celebrations or outdoor weddings are possible and can be an excellent complement to your function in the Liechtenstein GARDEN PALACE.
