As you tour the Liechtenstein CITY PALACE, discover more about the craftsmanship and artistry of Austrian heritage designers, whose cross-generational expertise was inspirational back in the 19th century - when Michael Thonet worked for the Prince of Liechtenstein - and continues to inspire today, with Lobmeyr and Swarovski restoring the Palace rooms to their former glory over a 5-year project completed in 2013.

On this guided tour, visitors have the opportunity to gain rare insights into the three Corner Salons of the Liechtenstein CITY PALACE, with exhibits including historical family portraits and unique furnishings.

In addition to the Corner Salons, the tour also visits the state rooms on the 2nd floor, where the expansive Neo-Rococo interiors convey an impression not only of the high status enjoyed by the Princely House of Liechtenstein from the Baroque period onwards, but also the extravagance of 19th-century tastes.
